This piece uses the selfie as source material to explore our relationship to ourselves and each other as the watcher and the watched. With dance performance and training as the lens, the performers drive the performance with their answers to questions of what it means to receive and give attention, to direct and be directed, to be seen and to see. With an original score by Tyler Catanella, the piece questions our sense and understanding of self, our bodies and participating in performance.
